How DrawLab works

Methodology and independence

What this is

DrawLab is an independent ticket-construction and historical-analysis tool for Australian lottery games. It is not affiliated with The Lott, Oz Lotteries, Tabcorp, any state lottery corporation, NIST, Bitcoin, or RANDOM.ORG. It does not sell or lodge lottery entries.

What the maths can and cannot do

Secure randomness can produce an unbiased ticket. Wheels can provide a precisely stated coverage guarantee. Anti-split scoring can avoid shapes commonly chosen by people. None of those methods makes the drawn numbers more predictable or improves the probability of a particular standard game winning.

Hot, cold, overdue, pair and shape statistics describe stored history only. They are not forecasts. Backtests answer what a ticket would have matched in the stored sample, not what it will do next.

Draw data

Draw data is cached from the public-facing data service used by The Lott website. That integration is unofficial and may be incomplete, delayed, changed or unavailable. Every history screen states the stored row count; official operator records remain authoritative.

Prices and rules

Displayed costs are estimates based on a base per-game figure. Retailer commissions, online subscription fees, jurisdiction and rule changes can alter the actual purchase price. Check the current rules, availability, closing time, price and results with an authorised operator before acting.

Rule catalogue reviewed 14 July 2026 against the current Australian system-entry guide, Set for Life play guide and September 2026 Set for Life update. Set for Life generation automatically stops at that change boundary until the catalogue is updated.
